(Database installation and maintenance)§ Assist in defining file organization, indexing methods, and security procedures for specific user applications§ Provide assistance in designing the logical data model and physical data model. § Support Liaison to the technical architecture infrastructure team develop requirements for the development, execution, and operations environments. § Contribute to the application and technical architecture analysis, design, and implementation, and ensure that the product fulfills the requirements. § Assisting with the planning, reporting, implementation, and support of a large data consolidation and the database architecture for the project.§ Develop application and data architecture work products and deliverables throughout development life cycle.§ Responsible for source system analysis, data mapping documents, and defining common data definitions. § Adhere to all quality management plans and standards by participating in quality management reviews.§ Understands specific application area from an industry, functional, and technical perspective§ Continually broadens own technical, functional, and industry skill base§ Reports weekly status to the relevant team leaders. Identifies problems and brings them to supervisors attention with sufficient lead time to avert crises. Also identifies changes in scope or work effort that could result in budgetary overrun or the missing of delivery dates. § Works effectively as part of a team and seeks to support the team s goals above individual goals.§ Possesses a basic knowledge of application or function.§ Notifies supervisors/escalates issues when problems or issues arise that are outside of normal scope of area.U.S. Citizenship Required.Experiences in Database related Service OperationsWorking knowledge of Technology architecture, Technology configuration and deployment, Ability to identify and communicate issues and risks to the team lead or end user to facilitate timely resolutionDBA experience (Oracle)Experience with Data Modeling toolsExperience working in a UNIX and/or Microsoft development environmentsExperience with packaged applications (Oracle or Seibel or SAP)Experience working with requirements management toolsTo learn more about SRA International, go to www.sra.com.SRA International is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
