Drafter I/II/III

The world leader in electronic countermeasures. Provides electromechanical system and equipment computer-aided designs (CAD) and detail drawings with a primary focus on three-dimensional solid modeling. Organizes and maintains both electronic files, as well as, hard copy files. Ability to generate or perform modifications to AutoCAD drawings.' Provides support to various departments in the modification and editing of electrical/mechanical components, connectors, production tools, and equipment. May need to produce designs originating with solid models moving to the creation of associated 2D detailed drawings. Responsible for issuing approved drawings into the document control database system and maintaining this associated database, as well, as other clerical duties within the department. Review drawings for compliance with company and Government standards, working with various functional areas to ensure accurate and timely releases, and may assist in the editing of documentation from approved redlines.Ability to draw simple sections with designer/engineer direction. Highly motivated individual in which is detail oriented with strong record-keeping skills. Familiar with engineering change management practices. Ability to communicate effectively in various functional areas and take direction from others. High School Diploma and typically requires 1 to 5 years directly related experience in CAD and drafting including experience with AutoCAD (recent). Familiar with Inventor 2008 & 2009, Pro/E, and AutoCAD 3D, or similar programs. Technical drawing or engineering degree in process or equivalent experience desired. RESPOND HERE!
