·  Bachelor's degree with coursework in at least one of the following areas: Human Resources, Public Administration, or Business Administration

·  Experience supervising the daily activities of subordinate staff

·  Experience interpreting, explaining, and applying the policies, procedures, agency rules/regulations to a variety of constituencies

·  Experience administering employee grievances and complaints

·  Experience coordinating hearings, pre-hearing matters and discovery

·  Experience using word processing and spreadsheet software on a personal computer
