Employment Coordinator - Parole and Probation

Job Duties:
Assists Marion County Sheriff's Office Parole and Probation clients in obtaining and maintaining employment and volunteer opportunities.  Plans, organizes and conducts studies and assessments to evaluate strengths, deficiencies and utilization of programs.  Plans and develops program descriptions, policies and procedures, measurements and systems.  Monitors operational details of programs.  Recommends policy goals and objectives for the program area.

This position is union represented working 40 hours per week and is eligible for overtime.

Minimum Qualificaiton Requirements:
Associate degree in public or business administration, social work or a related field; AND One year of responsible professional experience in prograrm planning, development and evaluation; OR Any equivalent combination of experience, education and/or training relevant to the position as determined by Marion County.


 

Necessary Special Requirements:
Must possess a driver's license in the applicant's state of residence and an acceptable driving history.  Marion County will obtain a copy of the driving record for all qualified applicants from Driver and Motor Vehicle Services.

Work schedule determined based on the needs of the department.

It is a Marion County Sheriff's Office policy that a criminal history background check be conducted on all new employees.
