PRINCIPAL MISSION

To provide quality service to members in a timely manner. Work constructively within the Department and with other Departments to achieve the common goals of the Credit Union.

 

EXPERIENCE

PC aptitude and one year loan processing experience.

 MAJOR QUALIFICATIONS

·  Project a pleasant and outgoing personality

·  Basic knowledge of Equity Loan / Line products and services

·  Good communication abilities (verbal and written)

·  Very good skill in equity loan processing and  member relations

·  Strong organizational skills

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Provide first quality service to members in a timely manner.

·  Develop a thorough knowledge of all Real Estate loan products and services.

·  Acquire and maintain a detailed knowledge of all Equity products, policies and procedures with regard to loan origination. This includes federal regulations in order to assure compliance.

·  Be prepared to explain the features and benefits, terms, rates, conditions, qualifications and guidelines of the various Real Estate products.

·  Achieve the goal of processing all loans in the equity loan queue each day.

·  Contact member within one business day and introduce himself/herself as the person who is processing the member’s loan. 

·  Promptly order property searches, appraisals and flood certifications.

·  Print and mail Reg Z disclosures and other related documentation to ensure regulatory compliance and timely processing of Equity Loans and Lines.

·  Contact member if required documents are not received back in 5 days.

·  Review and understand factual credit reports.

·  Assemble and verify all documentation to ascertain that the data and exhibits support the Underwriter’s lending decision.

·  Monitor property searches and appraisals to ensure turnaround time meets Credit Union guidelines.

·  Continuously update loan status in Morvision.  All files should be kept in proper order and updated in Morvision.  This ensures that the file can be reviewed and processed by any Processor at anytime.

·  All member contact should be noted in Morvision.

·  Achieve the goal of presenting equity loan files to the Closing Department within two weeks of origination.

·  Ability to use a personal computer; entering information via keyboard and accessing 

information from a computer screen.

·  Ability to answer incoming calls from members and assist with account transactions and 

inquiries via telephone.

·  Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor(s).
