Environmental Engineer Associate

Qualifications BA/BS degree in civil/environmental engineering, geology, geophysics, chemistry, or related field 2 to 5 years of experience, specifically with environmental investigation planning, implementation, and reporting. OSHA-certified training required Familiarity with a variety of the site investigation concepts, practices, and procedures within the environmental field, including state and federal regulatory requirements is desirable Responsibilities Individual will work in a dynamic, challenging team environment and be responsible for leading and completing assigned tasks related to Alion¿s support to the Corps of Engineers on the Military Munitions Response Program.  Individual will support analysis of historic documentation, development of briefing materials, preparation of site specific work plans, conduct of field work in accordance with work plans, analysis of field investigation data, and preparation of site inspection reports.  In addition, the successful candidate will review and coordinate data deliverables with other team members and the federal client.  Training and professional skill development will be provided for the various aspects of the position, as appropriate based on the selection candidate's experience.
