Field Technical Services Technician

-Provides access lock system installation training for Onity installation vendors.
-Develop existing and new installation resources and tracks Onity certification training program.
-Develops and documents procedures for installation techniques and standards for all Onity products.
-Documents all field reports for on site visits.
-QA existing installations through site visits of current and post installation reviews.
-Follows-up on customer related installation issues in a timely manner.
-Conduct small rework and clean-up projects.
-Work with all levels of Onity staff to ensure customer satisfaction goals are maintained. Implements team approach to resolve issues as appropriate.
-Attend project meetings and interfaces as field project lead for general contractors and architects.
-Additional projects and duties as assigned.


-Two years or more industry experience or equivalent education in Construction, Industrial Security with IT infrastructure, products and services.

-Current Electrical License or ability to acquire and maintain same in Georgia and other states.
-A+ Certification
-TCPIP/Ethernet
-Excellent computer and electronic skills
-50% to 75% Travel
-Able to assess and improve skill set of Lockset, access, software IT and electronic safe installers and trainers.
-Able to assist in trouble shooting lockset, access, software, IT infrastructure/architecture and electronic safe applications related to Onity customer sites and issues.
-Network +certification and practical working knowledge of applied network infrastructures.
-MCP and practical working knowledge of applied network infrastructures.
-Database management experience; SQL preferred.
-Strong Organizational skills.
-Strong software skills Lotus Notes, Excel, Microsoft Word.
-Working practical knowledge of ACE, Six Sigma a or like quality system.
