Functional Analyst IV

DSD Laboratories is seeking an experienced Functional Analyst to support the Electronic Systems Center (ESC) Family of Advanced Beyond light of sight Terminal (FAB-T) Program at HAFB Bedford MA.  This individual will provide acquisition and functional support to the Program Manager by reviewing, creating and maintaining acquisition and planning documents.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide a broad range acquisition support duties following DoD systems acquisition policy and NSSAP policy regulations, and guidance. Support program or system acquisition by preparing applicable documentation and reports, and by analyzing contract execution. Analyzes acquisition issues and develops risk reduction and mitigation approaches for improving program planning, control, and execution. Analyzes acquisition strategy methodologies and presents advantages and/or disadvantages. 

 

Assists with MDAP documentation, strategy preparation, briefing and presentation support, other acq-related tasks, working the management functions for RFP generation, BOE evaluations, ONE PASS efforts, and assistance with contract negotiations.  Support development of Task Requirement Notice studies for analysis work on the Global Hawk, U2, and Predator aircraft.  Support analysis and negotiation efforts for Risk Reduction Prototype and System/Subsystem Specification development efforts.

 

The key person will have a Masters Degree and 15 years experience, most on DoD or Air Force aquisision programns.  Management experience w/ information technology systems and familiarity with NSSAP acquisition activities and processes.  Experience with DoD Contractor tasking, progress reviews and management.

Working knowledge of related disciplines in Systems Program Office environment. Demonstrated ability to provide guidance and direction, to identify key objectives and priorities, to define scope, plan of action, resources, and capability to achieve mission requirements. Must have strong analytical and communication skills, a positive attitude, ability to work well with others and flexibility to changing workloads.  Possess ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (to include Microsoft Project). Knowledge of MCSW processes, SMC processes, and SNNG programs desired.  ACAT 1 program experience desired.
