Graphic Artist I

Education/Experience


Experience using Adobe Flash, Photoshop and other multimedia software applications.Associates degree with portfolio in digital art and or graphic design is desirable and may be substituted for experience.Ability to hold an Active Secret Security Clearance.Knowledge of ActionScript highly desirable. Experience building eLearning applications and / or content highly desirable.Knowledge of basic web development technologies (HTML, JavaScript, etc) desirable.Knowledge of US Navy submarine community is a plus.


Basic Functions of the Job

 Candidate will support and be a member of a team of diverse talent under the general auspices of interactive and multimedia development. Candidate will develop basic animations and interactive graphics to support training and eLearning solutions for our government customer.Team members may support one or multiple customers depending on funding and skill sets.

Technical Performance responsibility

 Candidate must be comfortable designing and realizing storyboards using Adobe Creative Suite applications including Flash MX 2004 or higher and Photoshop to produce content.Candidate will be required to produce illustrations, edit photos, create charts and diagrams to support training and eLearning solutions for our government customer.Some content will require minimal ActionScript coding. Perform other duties as required.

Supervision

 Candidate will receive tasking from Project Lead.Reports to Technical Area Manager for Media Development.
