HVAC Technician - Journeyman

The Chickasaw Nation Division of Commerce continues to build a bright future for the tribal nation with strategic acquisitions and investments.  Today, we have over 50 business entities including gaming centers, casinos, travel plazas, hotels, restaurants, radio stations, a newspaper, Bedre’ Fine Chocolates and Bank 2, just to name a few.

We currently have an immediate opening for an HVAC Technician with an Oklahoma state Journeyman's license.

EssentialsPerform duct installation/repair for heating and air equipment Install heating and air equipment Capable of servicing 2 ½ ton up to 130 ton units Answer and assist with service calls as assigned Install and maintain ice machines Maintain all vehicle mileage and gas receipts Prepare paperwork and file all documentation in a timely manner

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Must be able to lift at least 150lbs. Must be able to be on call for up to a week at any time Must be able to work after business hours as needed Must be able to work weekends as needed Must be able to communicate with the general public and employees Must have prior experience and knowledge of heating and air equipment General Knowledge of computer software (Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook) Requires prolonged sitting, standing or walking Requires eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity Must have general knowledge of telephone system and other office equipment Must be able to maintain an effective relationship with management, staff and co-workers Must enjoy working with and assisting others Must have an Oklahoma state Journeyman’s license

You must be able to pass background check and receive a gaming license from Chickasaw Gaming Commission. You also need to possess a valid drivers license and successfully complete a negative result on pre-employment drug test.
