Human Resources Manager

TESSADA is seeking a delivery-oriented HR Manager with experience in government contracting industry and labor relations. Based in our Springfield, VA HQ, this position offers a rewarding role that has tremendous impact.

The role of HR Manager incorporates a broad generalist background in human resource management skills and an expertise in strategic client partnership, including employee relations, performance management, workforce development, conflict resolution, consensus building, compensation, benefits and recruitment.  The incumbent must have solid technical skills in employee relations and experience with change management. The Manager is charged with balancing strategic vision with practical day-to-day HR service delivery.

The individual will participate to the design and implement effective human resources strategies and programs to ensure TESSADA overall business goals of accountability, professionalism, and securing a competitive position in the governmental contracting industry. In this role you will act as Business and Strategic Partner, an Employee Advocate and a Change Champion.

Preferred Credentials:

· 4-year degree in human resources or related field

· 8 years experience with a minimum of 3 years in the government contracting business. CBA experience is a plus.

· Experience with HRIS using DELTEK system.

· SPHR Certification preferred
