Intellectual Property Docket Clerk/Paralegal

SAIC currently has an exciting opportunity for an Intellectual Property Docket Clerk/Paralegal. Will assist with government clients in the research and preparation of documents and/or correspondence in relation to the protection of intellectual property by maintaining a database. Will perform duties such as assignment of case numbers, management of invention disclosures, mailing of patent applications, filing of all related paperwork, and other tasks as assigned. Researches and analyzes various regulations. Works on problems of moderately diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Exercises judgement within defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Previous experience with MS Office and excellent organizational skills. EDUCATION: Associates degree or 3 years of related work experience in lieu of degree DESIRED SKILLS: Paralegal certificates. Familiar with USPTO office procedures and practices, knowledge of electronic filing, and familiarity with the IP software tech tracks and IPMS NAVY software.
