115,000.00 - 120,000.00 USD /year Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Project/Program Management Relevant Work Experience: 7+ to 10 Years Company: Battelle Reference Code: BT15328 International CBRNE Analyst Battelle, a world leader in Science and Technology, is seeking a full time analyst to provide technical support to an Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) requirement, responsible for the oversight, strategic guidance, and implementation of international Chemical-Biological-Radiological Defense (CBRD) activities. The candidate will assist the client in integrating a program that fully leverages international cooperation to advance chemical and biological defense capabilities within the Department of Defense (DOD). The location of the position is at an OSD client-site in downtown Washington, DC. Compensation is based on the candidate's qualifications and experience. Position Responsibilities -Provide technical and analytic support to the oversight, guidance, and implementation of international DOD CBRD activities -Review and analyze international CBRD activities for consistency with DOD priorities. -Draft strategic international CBRD documents with and for DODs bilateral and multilateral partner nations. -Develop and maintain annual performance metrics based upon cost/benefit analyses for the international CBRD activities. -Supervise the work of a small team of action officers in coordinating staffing packages within DOD and between other US Government agencies as well as regularly providing issue papers and talking points to senior DOD officials. -Coordinate, organize, and integrate OSD guidance relating to the multinational Chemical-Biological-Radiological Memorandum of Understanding between Australia, Canada, United Kingdom, and the United States. -Review all proposed and amended CBRD international agreements and annexes for consistency with DOD policy. -Participate, coordinate, and report meetings. Assist project work in areas of technical competence and expert analysis of on-going and potential programs. Basic Qualifications -Bachelors degree in a relevant technical science. -Secret security clearance (qualified for Top Secret [T/S]). Minimum Qualifications -Minimum of 10 years experience supporting Service Major Command level or Military Department or Joint Staff or OSD client(s) with minimum of 5 years in directly relevant (chemical biological defense) field. -Excellent writing skills and ability to brief senior decision-makers. -Ability to multi-task in a high profile environment with minimal supervision and under demanding timelines. -Critical thinking, good judgment, and ability to assimilate input from diverse sources and produce clear, concise summaries and recommendations. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications. Preferred Qualifications -T/S Security Clearance. -Masters in a relevant managerial science. -Twenty or more years experience in supporting DOD clients. -Experience in CBRD requirements, testing, research, and acquisition.
