Java Programmer (Junior Level)

E F Kearney's growing IT division is currently searching for junior level Java Programmers in the DC area.  Candidates should have two or more years experience developing Java EE Web Applications using the Struts framework.  Experience with Java technologies including JSP, JUnit, Struts or JSF along with SQL and JavaScript are essential.  Exposure to EJBs,  Servlets, XML, Oracle and WebSphere Application Server are a plus.  You will be involved hands on in development, maintenance, integration, troubleshooting, and optimization of custom software application products for interesting clients. Work will be performed in a structured environment in order to design and develop web-based, multi-tiered enterprise class Java EE application solutions. Programmers will potentially be exposed to a range of other technologies, such as Web Services (SOAP, WSDL), Hibernate, JMS and many others.  There will be opportunities to implement many new technologies as we expand our services to meet the clients’ needs.Kearneyoffers a friendly atmosphere and collaborative work environment that separates us from other organizations.
