Writes and updates technical documentation such as users manuals, product specifications, and training materials. Performs a variety of testing procedures on assigned products, analyzes test results, and corrects problems. Prepares reports on analyses, findings, and project progress. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned. Thorough knowledge of the principles, practices and procedures used in object oriented software development.  Education/Equivalent Training Required  Three years of general IT experience with at least one year of professional programming experience to include JAVA. Bachelor''s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent can be substituted for 3 years of general experience.  Experience Proficient in maintaining and creating software using the following technologies: JAVA, SQL, JSP. Working knowledge of Struts, Tiles, Custom Tags, EJBs, and the overall design and development of J2EE web applications. Familiarity with one of the following Application Servers: Oracle Application Server or Apache Tomcat. Familiarity with one of the following database systems: Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server.  Unique/Additional Requirements Tasking will be provided by lead programmer that will require technical and analytical skills.
