Law Enforcement/Military Professional - Plans, Operations, and Training Advisor

Work closely with host countrymetropolitan police conducting special purpose law enforcement operations.  Develop Plans, Operations and Training system policies and procedures in support of the organization’s mission and goals;  establish, train, and mentor a professional operations, planning, and training staff;  create and implement processes for both deliberate planning and crisis action planning; establish a routine liaison capability;  and design, establish, and develop an exercise capability that allows the senior leadership to test operational plans and train staffs for future operations;  assess current capacity to conduct and track police operations; assist with development of all deliverables to include policies, regulations, operating procedures, and instruction;  serve as the organization’s senior mentor for Plans, Operations and Training. The Advisor will employ the following methods in interactions with host country professionals: continuous personal contact to establish mutual trust,confidence, and confidentiality; presentation of substantive material on general and specific subjects; assistance for development, implementation, and oversight of policies and processes that enable them to fulfill their individual and organizational professional responsibilities; assistance for the application of policies and processes to current priority challenges; and individual coaching to enhance personal effectiveness in execution of official duties. Additional duties may be assigned, including: Advisor team coordination, curriculum development supervision, advisor operations coordination, and staff training coordination and execution.Must be a US citizen in possession of a current US Passport, and able to communicate in fluent English. Must have a minimum of (7) years of military experience or experience with a large metropolitan police department (or equivalent state or county police department). Five (5)or more years of supervisory experience is also desirable. Must be physically fit and in excellent health.  Must possess an unblemished law enforcement or military background. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
