The SITSS Logistics Services Group provides Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) to Department of Defense, Federal, and State agencies. The Logistics Services Group is seeking an experienced individual to manage the Ft. Stewart and Ft. Benning Directorate of Logistics contract. Compensation will be based on qualifications and experience. The position is located in the Ft. Stewart locale. A full benefits package will be provided. The candidate selected for this position will provide effective, responsive, and efficient logistics compliance support to the Ft. Stewart Field Logistics Readiness Center (FLRC), the Ft. Benning FLRC, and the Ft. Stewart Director for Logistics (DOL) in optimizing, integrating, and synchronizing their support to the 3rd Infantry Division (Mechanized) (3rd ID) and its major organizational elements, including its four maneuver brigades, an aviation brigade, and a sustainment brigade, located at those geographic locations and at Hunter Army Airfield. Plan for, conduct, and evaluate a variety of maintenance management and materiel management functions currently being performed by support contractors at the aforementioned locations to meet a variety of user requirements. Plan for and execute a variety of logistics management tasks in support of the 3rd ID staff, its maneuver brigades, and its sustainment brigades. Synchronization of FLRC maintenance operations and materiel management operations with those performed by other Army Sustainment Command (ASC) elements (organic and contracted), FORSCOM units, installation DOL elements, and forward deployed logistics elements of the Army Material Command commodity-oriented Lifecycle Management Commands. Standardize FLRC, and DOL business processes to improve ASC's regional supportability of all Army Force Generation (ARFORGEN) requirements, timelines, milestones and reporting requirements. Primary job responsibilities include, but not limited to: - Manage very high OPTEMPO military logistical operation in support of Ft. Stewart and Ft. Benning and all units residing on both locations. - Operate during normal business hours of Monday through Friday 0730 - 1600 and be able to support surge operations on a 24/7 basis for a short periods of time. - Manage and direct 85 subcontractors and guide the subcontractor providing updates to the Government's concerns and change in work focus. Develop and implement policies to manage cost, schedule, performance, and quality of the subcontractor to meet contract Performance Work Statement requirements. - Inspect, verify and validate the subcontractor's performance results in optimization of maintenance capabilities for vehicles, weapon systems and related equipment to standards for the Ft. Stewart FLRC, Ft. Benning FLRC and the Ft. Stewart DOL. - Conduct inspections of an anticipated annual level of effort for 1,500 - 2,000 Class VII equipment (small generators tor heavy tracked and wheeled vehicles and inspections of up to 2,000 Class IX secondary items at Ft. Stewart. - Conduct inspections of an anticipated annual level of effort for 3,500 - 4,000 Class VII equipment (small generators tor heavy tracked and wheeled vehicles and inspections of up to 2,000 Class IX secondary items at Ft. Benning. - Conduct inspections of an anticipated annual level of effort for 3,500 - 4,000 Class VII equipment (small generators tor heavy tracked; wheeled vehicles and inspections of up to 4,000 Class IX secondary items; and 35,000 - 40,000 Soldier support items at Ft. Stewart DOL. - Conduct in progress inspections of Left Behind Equipment (LBE) and RESET maintenance work orders to validate quality, effectiveness and compliance to standards at the Ft. Stewart FLRC, Ft. Benning FLRC, and Ft. Stewart DOL. - Conduct final technical inspections of completed LBE, RESET at St. Stewart FLRC, Ft. Benning FLRC and Ft. Stewart DOL to validate quality, effectiveness and compliance to standards. - Coordinate and conduct initial, in progress and final inspections of wheeled vehicles and soldier support items for the Reserve components mobilization and demobilization through Ft. Stewart. - Provide logistics planning & integration support to the ASC Logistics Support Elements (LSE), Brigade Logistics Support Teams (BLST) and 3rd ID to conduct materiel management support, maintenance management support, readiness reporting support, property book support, logistics management support and OCONUS support as necessary. - Provide logistics management support to the Ft. Stewart FLRC, Ft. Benning FLRC and Ft. Stewart DOL which includes analysis, review support and deployment support This position will function as the Battelle Manager for the Battelle Ft. Stewart Team. The individual will be responsible for quality and timeliness standards in accordance with the contract Performance Work Statement for installation maintenance, supply, and transportation and plans and operations. You must possess excellent written and oral communications skills and the ability to maintain a professional attitude in a high tempo and demanding work environment. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office software applications. Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize, schedule, and organize work is a must. Secret security clearance is required. Required Qualifications: - DOD Secret clearance - 15 years minimum experience in Army logistics - 8 years minimum supervisory level experience in DOD - Bachelors Degree in logistics related discipline. Preferred Qualifications: Masters Degree in logistics related discipline, PMI certification as PMP; and Lean Six Sigma training/certification.
