MCT Specialist

You’ll work in Iraq, Afghanistan or Kuwait, supporting contingency operations for U.S. and Coalition Forces. The challenges are significant, but so are the rewards. Experience in Army MOS 88N/88M/88H or civilian equivalent preferred. Candidates will provide movement control support for the surface movement of cargo and personnel through the U.S. Military Transportation System.  Responsible for receiving, validating and processing all Transportation Movement Request (TMR) and Air Movement Request (AMR) for the personnel and equipment transiting, origination and terminating assigned MCT Area of responsibility.   Coordinate between MCT Functions to ensure efficient, timely and cost effective support to the customer.  Identifies and troubleshoots problem areas in movement and recommends solutions to management.  Works closely with customers to ensure desired movement objectives, priorities and schedules are met and communicated to management.  Works closely with customers to ensure desired movement objectives, priorities and schedules are met and communicated to management.  88N should have knowledge of the following military systems (JDLM, MTS, RFID-ITV, TC-AIMS).  All candidates must have above average computer skills.   Other MOS’s that will be considered are 92A, 92Y,  Marine 3112 & 3102 series, Air Force 2T2 series, Air Force 6C0 series, and Air Force 1A6 series.    All candidates must be willing to sign a one year open ended agreement following a minimum of 14 days of processing in Houston.
