We are presently looking for a Mechanical Engineer with experience in steel and composite fabrication as well as systems integration.  Position requires efficient and creative solutions based on customer narratives.  Engineer will estimate job costs for bidding of government and private contracts by determining design, material, services, data, logistics and quality requirements for proposals.  Must have an understanding of all contracts and work in conjunction with Project Management, purchasing and an array of vendors.  Will determine flow-down terms and conditions and certifications for subcontracts.  Must be able to analyze situations, create solutions, and contribute to research and development.  Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Auto CAD and Solid Works is a plus, B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, PE a plus but not required, 5-7 years experience.  Will directly report to the Vice President/Chief of Engineering.
