Manages the development, implementation and maintenance of company policies. Involved in the design and development of facilities, work areas and work procedures and make recommendations accordingly. Responsible for preparing, maintaining and updating policy and procedure manuals. Ensures compliance with all environmental, health and safety regulations, and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization. Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Acts as advisor to environmental, health and safety team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Bachelors degree related field or engineering with additional 8+ years of directly related environmental, health and safety experience to include heavy management experience, agency compliance, engineering development projects and project management; along with working experience with the TCEQ (Texas Commission on Environmental Quality), EPA, OSHA, and related regulations. EH&S manufacturing and/or vehicle experience required. Incumbent should have excellent PC skills, verbal communications skills and written communications skills. Has a strong working knowledge of the variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures associated with EH&S; and able to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
