Molecular Lab Tech position (PCR, Sub-Cloning, sequencing) experience needed at the NIH!

Kelly Scientific Resources has an excellent opportunity for a lab tech to work onsite at the National Institutes of Health. The candidate will:' Prepare common laboratory solutions and growth media for Drosophila, bacteria and tis-sue culture cells; handle collection and disposal, perform general lab housekeeping chores.' Maintain Drosphilia stock collection.' Design, perform, interpret results and report on a variety of experimental procedures, in-cluding DNA characterization, DNA sequencing, restriction mapping and PCR, genetic crosses (Drosophila ), fixation and immunostaining of fly embryos.' Prepare written records of experimental outcomes.' Present oral reports of experimental outcomes at laboratory meetings.Requirements:' BS degree in biology, chemistry, molecular biology or a related discipline preferred.' Prior laboratory research experience strongly preferred.' Experience with recombinant DNA (plasmid subcloning, DNA sequencing, PCR) is es-sential.' Experience in Drosophila genetics preferred.'
