National Sales Manager

The ideal candidate will be well connected in the sales/networking communities and have earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business/Marketing or equivalent work experience. The applicant must also have at least 5 years of solid service sales experience in the Packaging industry wholesale or retail markets. Experience with reusable carrying/shipping cases or similar products would be considered a plus.

 

You will get our attention if you:

  Have a proven track record in outside sales with an emphasis on building long-term client relationships and to ensure sales results and customer expectations are exceeded. Are able to develop, train and manage an in-house sales force and an external representative organization for both domestic and international markets. Are a creative thinker and problem solver and are keen on seeking new avenues for potential sales and identifying and securing new accounts, maximizing sales opportunities. Are able to develop sales strategies and plans for the market. Are able to monitor and report on competitive issues and emerging trends in the marketplace. Have a strong work ethic, and are a disciplined and motivated team player who can work well without direct supervision. Have the ability to travel extensively within the US. Can demonstrate strong verbal/non verbal communication skills with diverse groups of people. Are proficient with Word, Outlook, Power Point, Excel and CRM software. Experience in selling in the merchandising and retail services arena preferred.
