SRI is currently seeking full-time New Parent Support Program (NPSP) Home Visitors for positions in the United States, Germany and Korea.  NPSP employees will work with parents of children prenatal to three years of age, who have been assessed to be at risk for child maltreatment and/or domestic violence.  The New Parent Support Program (NPSP) is a program offered to U.S. Army families to enhance parent and infant attachment, increase knowledge of child development, and provide connections to the support services that allow parents to become nurturing and capable caregivers. The NPSP staff consists of licensed social workers and registered nurses who provide in-home parenting education, support and resource linkage.

 

Requirements:  Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Registered Nurse (RN) with a Bachelor’s degree and two years of related experience are needed for all locations. Some locations below will also consider candidates with the designation of Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW); therefore, we encourage all who may qualify to apply. Irrespective of the designation, candidates must have two years of experience in child/domestic abuse, maternal and/or child health, community heath, or marriage and family therapy. Applicants with knowledge of military family lifestyles are preferred. *Important: Please recognize it is not required for the candidate to be licensed in the state in which they would work.  It is only required to have a license from a state in the United States.
