Oracle DBA - MUST BE A US CITIZEN

Apex Systems Inc is looking for an Oracle DBA for a 6mth to hire position in Ft. Knox, Kentucky.

 

Must Haves:

 Minimum of 3 years experience in Oracle database administration on an enterprise level including experience developing scripts, performance tuning, and applying patches.Must have experience with completing a conversion from Oracle 9i to 10gBS in computer Science or an additional 3-4 years of Oracle specific DB administrationUS citizen and already posses or able to obtain a DOD ADP II clearanceStrong team, oral, and written communication skills



Pluses:

 Current RDBMS certification is preferred



Description:

 

This person will be working conducting basic Oracle administration duties on a daily basis which will include performance tuning, developing scripts, and applying patches.  The position will be normal shift which is either 7:30-4:30 or 8-5, with a rotating weekend on call schedule as well. This person is expected to have a lot of knowledge with internals and a great understanding of the ins and outs of Oracle Databases.
