Visit Grant Thornton’s Global Public Sector at www.grantthornton.com/publicsector  Position Responsibilities: Negotiate Contracts with outside vendors for onsite course delivery Responsible for the strategic planning and management of training and performance management systems for our GPS practice office Provide leadership, guidance and performance coaching for the training staff Plan and manage onsite and remote delivery of courses and conferences Design and develop training courses Develop, manage and report on the training and performance management budget Manage training requests for both internal and external client serving professionals Manage extensive performance management process for both internal and external client serving professionals Manage continuing professional education (CPE) processing Negotiate contracts with outside vendors for onsite course delivery Recommend enhancements and changes to the performance management process Develop learning plans by client-facing service line Recommend enhancements and changes to the learning management system (SumTotal) and human resource system (Lawson) to support training requirements Write standard operating procedures Other duties as needed Job Requirements: BS in Human Resources, Organizational Learning or similar client-facing work experience CPLP a plus; PHR a plus; PMP preferred Prefer experience in a consulting firm or other professional services organization Proven ability to communicate with business and technical leaders Experience with design, delivery and management of complex performance management systems Experience in the design and delivery of live learning, including conferences and classrooms, for adult learners, also includes delivery to learning systems for remote learners Experience in developing and delivering online, asynchronous courses for adult learners Ability to assess learning needs and collaborate on the design, development and delivery of effective learning and performance solutions Leadership and teamwork track record with potential to organize and evolve a team Attributes that include a strong client service mentality, detail orientation, a positive team-oriented attitude balance with the ability to work independently, and a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm Excellent oral, written, presentation, organizational, and collaboration skills Strong project management skills Skills Required Experience with SumTotal or other LMS a plus Experience with SuccessFactors or another performance management system a plus Excellent Microsoft Suite skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)  Experience with online course publishing software like Camtasia and LearnLive a plusTraining and Development, Organizational DevelopmentAdditional Information: Travel Percentage: 20% Company:Grant ThorntonLocation:Alexandria, VAStatus:Full Time, EmployeeJob Category:Full Time, Employee Company:Grant ThorntonReference Code:8813
