Project Director - International Health

Gallup Poll consultants assist leaders to identify and monitor behavioral economic indicators worldwide. The Opportunity Gallup’s Project Director — International Health will act as the senior manager of a five-year international health project. This person will be responsible for: • Determining overall project strategy, goals, and objectives to ensure precise implementation and delivery of contract objectives • Maintaining the leadership position on the account and leading project operations • Attending overseas meetings with top health leaders and advisors • Developing survey research healthcare policy initiatives • Using leadership talent and managerial and communication skills to effectively interact with U.S. government and other global agencies • Thinking strategically about global health problems and potential solutions • Analyzing, disseminating, and using survey data in developing countries • Managing diverse teams and overseeing strategic vision • Executing deliverables of survey research studies with quality and precision • Ph.D. or Dr. P.H. is preferred; MA, MS, or MPH minimum required • Ten years of experience in the social or health sciences, epidemiology, or demography • Experience in population and facility-based data collection • Experience interacting with U.S. government agencies, host-country governments, and international donor agencies • Fluency in Spanish, French, or Arabic, in addition to English, is desirable • 20% international travel is required   Company: Gallup Location: Washington, DC Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Business/Strategic Management Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Reference Code: 00710 View All Gallup Career Opportunities Send This Link to a Friend
