Project Leader - Information Assurance

NGS seeks an outstanding Senior Lead Information Assurance Analyst to utilize their knowledge and skills to serve a Federal client(USDA Farm Service Agency - FSA) in the Information Security Office to achieve Certification and Accreditation of information systems in accordance with NIST SP 800-37; the Agency C&A Guide; Federal laws, regulations, guidance, and standards; and agency policy and procedure. Required deliverables include: Risk Assessments System Security Plans Risk Mitigation Plans Security Features Users Guides Trusted Facility Manuals Security Controls Compliance Matrices Privacy Impact Assessments Configuration Management Plans System Security Categorization Documents Interconnection Security Agreements Data Sharing Agreements Any other Security related documentation required to support the C&A process The C&A process shall require attendance at systems development meetings; preparing and presenting formal training on the overall C&A process and specific aspects of the C&A process, as requested by management; and providing technical leadership for the ongoing maintenance, improvement, and development of the C&A process.Education: Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Experience: 10-12 yrs   Required Education:   Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, with a minimum of 10 years core, mid level or greater experience in enterprise level IT Security and Information Assurance operations. Required Skills/Abilities: 10+ yrs of experience in the IT and Information Assurance arena. 5 yrs of experience as an Information Assurance Analyst or IT auditor Excellent Project Management / Team Lead Skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to perform in a team environment. Ability to multi-task. Must be a self-starter. Must be able to coordinate and matrix tasks from many different sources. Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills. Must be able to pass a background investigation.
