Project Manager

Incumbent is responsible for the planning, development, coordination, implementation, and assessment of various property management realty projects generally that are under 10,000 square feet. Consults with managers to identify/define customer needs and requirements relative to space alterations and realignments, office relocations, lease issues/renewals, long-range space needs, equipment and furniture needs, etc. These services may impact multiple Internal Revenue Service (IRS) locations and organizations in addition to involving multiple business unit executives, union chapters, and General Services Administration (GSA) offices. Has responsibility for preparing business case analyses and/or managing projects to resolve substantive problems or to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of operating programs. Provides formal presentations to management and may also prepare various management position/decision papers for use in presenting alternative approaches.
