Psychiatrist 4

PSYCHIATRIST Washington State Department of Corrections  BC/BE adult psychiatrist at Monroe Correctional Complex (MCC). MCC is the mental health tertiary referral center for the state corrections system and has a doctoral staff of 4 psychiatrists and 9 psychologists supported by other disciplines. Staff provides comprehensive mental health care to a unique and challenging group of patients.

Mental health services are integral to the delivery of health care. Under the direction of a lead clinician, the psychiatrist will be responsible for all aspects of patient care and importantly, shaping the direction of mental health services.
 
The regular hours of the position allow time to participate in the wide variety of cultural and recreational activities available to Puget Sound residents. The generous compensation package includes sick time, vacation leave, educational opportunities, life insurance and more.
