In this capacity the person will be responsible for working with CDC FTE's and other contractor staff to ensure successful implementation of drills for overall preparedness planning for the division.Requirements: 1. Strong, responsive and active communicator 2. Excellent organization skills with ability to handle multiple tasks 3. Results-driven orientation, with ability to coordinate tasks leading to specific outcomes 4. Knowledge of computer software such as Microsoft Office 5. Availability by phone and/or email during 8 am to 6 pm Eastern Time (flexible working hours are an option in this position) 6. Ability to work in a flexible, changing environment that is fast-paced at times 7. Comfortable working with off-site supervision and of self-starting with little direction at times 8. Experience planning and conducting preparedness drills and exercises9. Willingness and interest in frequent travelEducation or Equivalent Experience: 1. MPH or health-related master's degree (other master s degree considered, or bachelor's with significant experience) 2. Prior or current CDC experience 3. Knowledge of preparedness and response guiding documents and framework within the US (i.e., NIMS) 4.
