RF Engineer

We have an immediate need for a RF/Microwave Design Engineer for a direct hire position in Orlando FL

 

Duties and Description:Design test and integrate ultra-compact, low power transceiver in using the latest cutting edge technology in synthesizer and ZIF (Zero IF) receiver techniques. Schedule build in MS Project and Lead design teamPreliminary RF System design including transceiver cascade analysis and phase noise analysis.Detailed circuit design including:Low phase noise miniaturized synthesizer with 4-pole loop bandwidth. Low noise receiver from RF to baseband digital conversion using ZIF, and differential signals.

Qualifications:BSEE required - MSEE preferred.At least 4-8 yrs experience designing with RF technologyDesign experience related to RF circuit design, analysis calculating signal gain/loss/noise budgets and PCB layoutExperience with synthesizer and receiver design (amps and mixers)Excellent knowledge and understanding of Low Phase noise synthesizers Strong experience in microwave design (from DC - 3Ghz)Experience with tools such as Cadence or Altium design suites, Eagleware Genesis, Microware Office or Agilent ADSMatLab experience, hands on integration and troubleshooting
