REAL ESTATE MANAGERThe Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA), the nation’s most dynamic and complex mass transit system, whose network of buses, subways, commuter rail lines, bridges and tunnels move over 8 million people daily, has an excellent opportunity for a financially-astute Real Estate professional.

The position will support the Real Estate Department in a financial capacity for leasing activities regarding MTA agency occupancies. Reporting to the Associate Director Real Estate, the incumbent will organize, manage, direct and control all financial workflow to ensure optimum utilization, output and accuracy. Responsibilities will include, preparing budgets, processing invoices, handling charge-back resolutions and reconciliations utilizing PeopleSoft and/or other departmental data management systems. Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance (or related field) or the equivalent in work experience plus minimum 1-year business finance, accounting, or commercial real estate experience required. MBA or MBA Finance may be substituted for experience. PC proficiency including WORD and EXCEL, with excellent accounting/finance skills, knowledge of real estate principles/document interpretation and superb oral and written communication skills, mandatory.
