Sales Business Analyst Support the Channel Operations Manager in the implementation of the Go?To?Market model (GTM) in relevant U.S. sales organizations and channels. You will be responsible for the creation, and management of the Sales data management standards, processes, and mechanisms for operational reporting, relative to sales & customer data, utilized by all levels of the assigned channel(s). We seek an experienced individual contributor who provides expertise and consultation, in the analysis and preparation of specifications and plans for GTM implementation in assigned channel(s). For these activities, this position serves as an interface but does not have managerial responsibilities such as hire/fire authority. Ensures timely and successful implementation of: Overview: Preparation of specifications and plans for the GTM implementation. Consults with assigned channels on GTM implementation in the following: Channel compliance. Identifying conflicts and issues associated with GTM application and adherence. Providing resolution for identified conflicts and issues associated with GTM application and adherence. Developing and monitoring key performance indicators and contingency plans. GTM changes and enhancements. Plans productivity measurements and business intelligence reports that measure the effectiveness of GTM implementation vis-à-vis key business drivers. Reporting of Booking and Revenue by Sales Channel, business unit, product, etx Serves as an advocate for resolution of technical issues with relevant systems and databases. Provides requirements to staff of Business Analysts. Manages the implementation of data auditing, data mining and other techniques, in the assigned channel(s), to achieve a high level of data quality. Identifies reporting & alert requirements and coordinates business needs by applying business process knowledge, by utilizing internal system resources and by assessing adaptability. Provides detailed business requirements to technical development staff and work closely with various business units to develop data-driven solutions. Analyzes user requirements and recommends systems solutions to optimize productivity. Provides guidance to technical staff for system/database development and enhancement, to Determines the impact on the new and/or existing design. Manages the coordination of the update or modification to existing databases and systems as required to reflect accurate account and sales team information. Manages day-to-day operational work and projects. May serve as a team leader on a project basis, ensuring timely and efficient project completion. Requirements: Strong knowledge of tools and techniques used to manage systems-driven operational support of Sales, back-office processes, and data quality. 3 - 5 years data management and/or data administration experience. Proven leadership and effective written and verbal communication skills. Sustained record of goal achievement with external data sources. Ability to manage daily operations and establish solutions-driven team environment. Ability to work independently and with multi-functional department across the organization. Experience with pipeline management tool and order management application (Siebel or Oracle) desireable. 7 years related business experience desired.
