Job Duties:Performs declassification review of Army records in accordance with Executive Order 12958, as amended. 

 

Job Requirements:Must  have excellent reading and comprehension skills, understand records management and have over six years of experience working in the declassification or records management areas. Applicant must be knowledgeable of E.O. 12958 requirements, the declassification analysis process, use of classification guides, recognition of Army equities, proper disposition of documents reviewed and mastery of automated tools and tracking system.  Applicant may be required to train new employees, serve as a team leader and perform quality assurance tasks.  Applicant must be certified by Department of Energy as Historical Records Reviewers for the purpose of identifying Restricted Data and Formerly Restricted Data in documents under review.  Applicant must also be able to recognize equities from other agencies and make proper referrals of documents to those agencies.  All work is performed in a classified facility and each person must possess a final Top Secret security clearance from Department of Defense before they can start.
