Senior Pricing Analyst

Reviews requests for proposals to identify and assist proposal team in developing statements of work. Works with internal organizations to determine anticipated labor and overhead rates, material requirements, equipment costs and possible bid strategies. Analyzes estimates against previous cost experience and recommends adjustments. May participate in negotiation of contract proposals, engineering changes of price re-determination. Conducts special studies on labor requirements to establish baseline costs or effect cost reductions. Requires proficiency in creation and modification of price models using Excel spreadsheets.  Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and four to six years of related experience.  Specific responsibilities include

• Develop the cost volume and pricing scenarios for assigned proposals.

• Perform timely cost and price analyses and develop pricing templates and models in Excel that are accurate and adaptable.

• Ensure that cost/price proposals are in accordance with the solicitation’s requirements and government regulations (FAR).

• Complete solicitation specific pricing forms and/or templates (i.e. Section B Supplies or Services and Prices).

• Ensure that the policies that govern the preparation of cost estimates are adhered to.

• Establish pricing milestones and dates and coordinate with proposal team to meet milestones.

• Update proposals in a timely manner in response to revision requests, Final Proposal Revisions, or to support negotiations.
