The Role
We’re looking for candidates who enjoy pushing the analytics envelope, employing and creating novel analytical methods, defining the state of the art. Successful candidates should expect to engage with customers, to understand their data-related issues, and to suggest strategies and approaches to extract the necessary intelligence from the data. Our analytics work involves the manipulation, analysis, and modeling of large, complex data sets to deliver the intelligence required for optimal decision-making.
Our analytics work spans areas such as:
National security analysis
Detection and prevention of fraudulent behavior (e.g., first-party fraud, third-party fraud, identity fraud, insider collusion)
Business process optimization
Large-scale advanced analytics
Multi-INT data fusion
Natural language processing
Graph theory and social network analysis
Statistical analysis
Pattern recognition
Predictive modeling
Position Requirements
We are seeking individuals with knowledge and experience in data analytics, quantitative analysis, data fusion, data mining, operations research, and/or data manipulation. A clear track record of designing modeling approaches and interpreting results is required. Strong candidates will have the ability to manage client relationships and provide guidance and mentoring to junior staff. Experience with one or more programming languages, such as JAVA, Perl, C, C++, SAS is a plus.
An advanced degree in mathematics, physics, engineering, statistics, computer science, economics, or other associated field is desired. At least three to five years of relevant experience is required. Candidates with different educational backgrounds who can demonstrate domain knowledge will be given full consideration.
