Senior SOA Devloper/Integrator

The C4IT Business Unit currently has an opening for a Software Developer/System Integrator. JOB DESCRIPTION: The candidate will be responsible for integrating Consolidated Afloat Network and Enterprise Services and other community of interests (COI) service providers’ applications in the System Integration Lab supporting Test and Validation (T&V) service-oriented environments. Required education: -Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field and 8+ years experience. Advanced degree in related technical field a plus. Required Skills: -Must have the ability to obtain a SECRET Clearance -8-10 years of experience including previous development experience using JSP, Java, Servlets, and JavaScript -Previous Web Service development -Possesses excellent troubleshooting skills -Understands SOA, J2EE application servers, XML, PKI, and web technologies -Familiarity in the configuration and operation of Linux -Familiar with XML, web technologies and associated protocols (HTTP, FTP, DNS, WWW, SSH, Telnet) -Ability to work in a fast-paced environment interacting with multiple teams and performing multiple tasks simultaneously Desired Skills: -Previous experience in system administration of Linux systems -Shell Scripting experience (Bash, Perl) -Familiarity with configuration management and software tools such as Subversion and CVS -Understanding of portlets and portal technologies -Has developed and/or supported applications running in J2EE application servers -WebLogic Portal experience a plus -Application Logging Frameworks: Log4J -Experience with Open Source SOA products such as JBOSS a plus Company: SAIC Location: Charleston, SC 29405 Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: IT/Software Development Relevant Work Experience: 7+ to 10 Years Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Education Level: Bachelor's Degree Company: SAIC Reference Code: Req. #115277
