Senior Systems Analyst Financial

Provide supervision for team of Systems Analysts and System Support Specialists working with Financial, Payroll, and EDI applications.  Track all existing projects to ensure timely completion.  Work as an on-going development resource for staff and multiple projects.  Create and modify import/export interfaces between applications. 

 

The selected candidate will possess:

 

·  Intimate hands-on knowledge of Oracle PeopleSoft development tools including Application Engine, SQR, Query, Crystal, and Component Interface and ability to utilize these tools.

·  Understanding of Oracle PeopleSoft FMS and EPM module functionality relating to General Ledger, Commitment Control, Accounts Payable, Expenses, eProcurement, Purchasing, Cash Management, and Budgeting and Planning.

·  Knowledge of and experience with HR/Payroll and general ledger/financial applications including customer support, troubleshooting, conversion and implementation.

·  Knowledge of PL/SQL, Oracle, SQL Server 2000, MS-access, Crystal Reports, Windows Server 2000/2003, Windows 2000/XP, Visual Basic, Microsoft.net, MS-Office

·  The ability to problem solve issues, determine/refine business requirements, suggest alternative approaches, develop design solutions, create technical documentation and coordinate cross-functional projects.

·  Demonstrated competency in applying project management skills, including providing estimates and creating/maintaining Project Plans.

·  Excellent verbal/written communication skills for interfacing with internal and external clients, peers, management and cross-functional areas.

·  Ability to multitask and adapt to rapidly changing client priorities.

·  A self-starter who can work independently or as a principal participant on a team and takes the initiative to fulfill job responsibilities.

 

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, management information systems or related area, supplemented by a minimum of five (5) years previous experience and/or training that includes computer programming, systems analysis, computer operations and hardware/software trouble shooting.
