Job Purpose:

· Optimizes customer satisfaction by developing, implementing, and maintaining Web-based applications.

 

Duties:

· Confirms site objectives by conferring with subject matter experts; analyzing user requirements; designing, streamlining, and upgrading new features and functionality; studying existing technology architecture.

· Develops user interfaces by determining design methodologies and tool sets; preparing a workflow chart and diagram using knowledge of computer and ASP.net programming capabilities, subject matter, human factors, and logic; monitoring release schedules; following project development methodology.

· Programs applications by entering design requirements using Sharepoint and ASP.net technology.

· Confirms applications by conducting tests; modifying program sequence and/or debugging codes; resolving problems.

· Integrates applications by designing database architecture and server scripting; studying and establishing connectivity with network systems, search engines, and information servers; preparing reusable component design.

· Completes applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; developing common site infrastructure; maintaining dynamic data for site.

· Supports users by developing documentation and assistance tools; responding to support and maintenance requests.

· Updates job knowledge and IT Industry by researching and keeping abreast of new technologies, software products, as well as current events and trends related to ethics, law, and legal implications of the Internet and computer technologies.

· Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

 

Key Experience Requirements:

· Minimum of 2 years of overall development experience

· Minimum of 1 year of .NET development experience

· A background and understanding of SharePoint Portal 2007 and Internet Information Server (IIS)

· An individual who is a self learner and someone who enjoys learning new technologies

· Good communication skills and Excellent written skills

· Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent field

· 1 prior working engagement as a consultant or developer with exposure or experience in each stage of a development project.

 

Nice to Have:

· MCP, MCAD, MCSD in .NET or equivalent

· Experience developing Web parts or Customizing SharePoint Portal
