NYC’s Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications (DoITT) oversees the City's existing and emerging technologies and its delivery of services to the public, sharpens the alignment of IT resources and investments with business strategies and objectives, and leverages the purchasing power of the City to reduce costs. DoITT utilizes technology to advance accessibility, accountability and Transparency of City government to its citizens, businesses and visitors.

Under the supervision of a Senior Technical Architect, the candidate will:
- Maintain Siebel 7 Sun Solaris environment architectures;
- Support production and application build environments;
- Troubleshoot daily issues and conduct weekly maintenance in the production environment;
- Investigate and resolve architecture issues, with Siebel vendor as necessary;
- Escalate issues to management as appropriate.

Essential Skills:
- At least 1 year of experience working in a Siebel environment;
- Experience with Siebel Administration, Siebel 8 ‘load-balanced’ architecture;
- Sun Solaris Operating System; Oracle; Siebel EAI Interface; Actuate and Fulcrum architecture;
- Demonstrated teamwork, analytical, communication, and organization skills;
- Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines;
- Able to effectively interface with technologists, business owners, and end-users;
- Call Center experience a plus.

*Availability to work various shifts, such as weekends and/or evenings; Ability to work overtime as required (may need to be on call to support 24x7x365 technical operation).

Requirements:
BA/BS and 4 years related experience with 18 months in a managerial/lead capacity
