Job Responsibilities:Utilize SQL to analyze and maintain complex relational data Develop PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions, triggered from UI events or database triggers, to implement complex business logic and optimize system performance Design and develop complex User Interface using Oracle Forms Understand application performance tuning techniques Work with Business Analysts and required documents to identify data related business requirements Mentor and develop junior staff Provide application development support in Oracle Designer and Developer Understand System Development Life Cycle methodologies, especially of modern iterative methods Apply theoretical knowledge and practical experience with complex data model issues. Travel may be required Perform other duties as may be assigned by management

Education/Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent Eight to ten years experience in OLTP systems utilizing Oracle technologies Five or more years experience utilizing SQL to analyze and maintain complex relational data Five or more years experience developing PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions Three or more years experience designing and developing complex User Interface using Oracle Forms Ability to interface well with business professionals and technical staff at all levels Experience with Oracle Forms development, especially via generation from Oracle Designer Basic understanding of JAVA programming language Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to interact courteously and effectively with a variety of people Ability to handle pressure and perform multiple tasks Computer literacy, effective analytical and problem solving ability and ability to work as a team member, as well as independently
