Job Responsibilities:Accountable for analyzing team and individual performance of the image assembly department sub-processes across all identified critical metrics, and specifically those related to quality, timeliness and productivity to identify trends and/or perform root-cause analysis, creating control plans to improve problem areas Provide staff with appropriate tools and resources to perform their jobs, and ensure that appropriate work instructions are followed, in accordance with department procedures Understand the capability of the department sub-processes and their relationship to the greater integrated Eligibility Process Together with Manager, Imaging, maintain and refine critical metrics of department sub-processes to ensure continued alignment with overall Integrated Eligibility objectives Establish, measure, and achieve performance objectives within Image Assembly Department sub-process through the use of a Management Operation System (MOS), including QA and performance reviews at the team and individual level Conduct performance reviews of staff against critical metrics; quality, productivity and timeliness including relevant components of Process Control Plan such as work instruction review Participate in the design and implementation of image assembly sub-process changes in coordination with the Manager, Imaging Understand and follows the Change Control Process for all identified department sub-process modifications Ensure staff has appropriate resources to effectively perform the duties of their position and empower people within the department to take individual responsibility for the successes and failures of the process Provide leadership to the image assembly department by creating a supportive and learning environment that attracts, retains and develops staff Effectively communicate required information to staff daily, and provide constructive, objective feedback that embraces a culture of operational excellence Manage workload, schedules, attendance, and other appropriate employee matters, and escalate unresolved individual and team concerns to the Manager Perform other duties as assigned by management
Education/Experience:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent relevant experience; or one to three years supervisory experience in a health or social services field Demonstrated knowledge of Texas Health and Human Services programs preferred Ability to demonstrate supervisory and leadership skills Working knowledge of computers including word processing, spreadsheets and databases Ability to follow directions Ability to interact courteously and effectively with a variety of people Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Ability to perform comfortably in an environment that measures timeliness, production and quality standards Ability to analyze performance and quality data to identify trends and/or perform root-cause analysis, creating control plans to improve problem areas Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently
