As a supervisor in the Safety Management Group of the Systems Engineering and Safety Office, responsible for implementing the FAA's new Safety Management System (SMS) in the Operations Planning Service Unit.  Plays a key leadership role in implementing and executing the SMS in systems level planning of the National Airspace System (NAS), as well as in the acquisition of new systems for the NAS.  Leads the development and implementation of a safety engineering plan for the Operations Planning Service Unit.  Trains, coaches, and leads the Safety Management Group within Systems Engineering and Safety Organization.  Ensures all services and products are delivered safely, effectively, and efficiently within a systems engineering and systems safety engineering framework.
