Develops code and required design documentation in accordance with established project standards." Supports testing of developed code§ Supports production deployment and verifies successful production implementation§Coordinates/oversees code development, and ensures code and testing of application code owned by the Development Team and development of system specifications and interfaces is in compliance with design standards. § Provides input into application development workplan.§ Develops application processes and operational documentation for the Build and Test phase in accordance with functional and technical programming standards and the US-VISIT Delivery Methodology (UDM).§ Assists with gathering and interpreting user/system requirements into programming and code specifications and to ensure that solution and code meets customer requirements. § Participates, reviews, and approves code and design documentation for structured peer reviews / walkthroughs.§ Responsible for understanding the business and technical requirements, architecture, and design specifications, and developing the associated application code and documentation. The code needs to be compliant with IDENT and US-VISIT coding standards, and the documentation needs to be compliant with UDM. Also responsible for interfacing with the Requirements team, Testing team, Architecture team, and other Application Development teams where applicable.§ Assist in establishing and maintaining the programming design standards and completing artifacts required to complete the relevant gate reviews (e.g., Preliminary/Final Architecture Design Review, Test Readiness Review, Release Readiness Review).§ Work with design analysts, functional analysts, application architect, and technical architect to gather and interpret user/system requirements into code and programming specifications, development of code, and verification that code and solution meets customer requirements.§ Coordinate with Technical Architecture team to provide input to the overall and future state of the application and coordinates work with other software developers on and across Applications.§ U.S. Citizenship Required§ 5+ years of object-oriented development experience using Java/J2EE or C++§ 3+ years Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) development experience§ 3+ years experience with Oracle, PL/SQL and/or SQL§ Knowledge of Windows 2000/XP, HP-UX, Linux (Red Hat) operating systems§ Understanding of structured software development activities and processes§ Effective written and verbal communication skills§ Ability to work well with othersTo learn more about SRA International, go to www.sra.com.SRA International is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
