WATER/WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT OPERATOR

This position is being advertised based upon anticipation of the Board of Supervisors approval in July 2008.

Pay is based on certifications. Additional pay is given to candidates who have certifications in both water and wastewater. For the current classification scale please go to https://www.culpepercounty.gov/HR/index.asp.

Seeking Qualified Candidates to perform a variety of duties related to the operation and maintenance of water/wastewater treatment plants in accordance with State of Virginia and federal water quality regulations.  Work includes conducting inspections, operatoring various machinery, and monitor and record inventory levels.

Water and/or Wastewater Treatment Operator’s Certificate issued by the Commonwealth of Virginia is encouraged. Must possess and maintain a valid Virginia Driver’s license.
