2008-030 Facilities Technician II-AGV/ASRS Technician **

JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the repair and maintenance of the AGV and ASRS equipment and systems. Additional responsibilities include basic maintenance and repair on facilities equipment, buildings and grounds.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Maintain and follow proper ISO procedures and GMP requirements
2. Performs troubleshooting, repair and maintenance on automatic storage and retrieval machines and automated guided vehicles.
3. Performs basic troubleshooting on HVAC equipment, controls, and systems; and facility equipment, including water system, fire and security system, air compressors, etc.
4. Compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations including EPA and OSHA regulations.
5. Monitor all preventative maintenance work and schedules to complete assigned work
6. Troubleshoot and repair electronic circuits with emphasis on AGV and SRM systems.
7. Perform general repairs and work order requests
8. Assist Facilities personnel in other occupation as needed
9. Prepare and maintain logs, monthly reports, inventory reports, purchase orders and ringis
10. Perform other duties as assigned
11. Will be required to work plant shutdowns including most holidays


Position Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Typically requires a high school diploma and Electronics Certification with 5-7 years experience in plant and equipment maintenance
2. Ability to read blueprints, schematic drawings, and electronic symbols
3. Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, water system and hydraulics
4. Ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs on electrical, electronic and mechanical systems
5. Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and e-mail
6. Experience maintaining paper and electronic logs
7. Mechanical/electrical aptitude with problem solving skills and theory of repair
8. Ability to use hand and power tools including fork lift operation, lifts, etc
9. Strong verbal and written communication skills
10. Demonstrated ability to prepare proposals for project work
11. Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects
12. Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination 20/20 equivalent or corrective vision
13. Majority of the day is spent standing or walking; however, does include stooping, bending, lifting, pulling, reaching, etc. May be required to work in uncomfortable positions to include confined areas, working at various heights, etc. Lifting, moving or pushing requirements may be up to 90 lbs
14. Ability to work OT and fill in on other shifts as needed which may require weekend or evening work

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. AAS degree in Electronics
2. Experience repairing and maintaining AGV and ASRS equipment and systems
