26 Weeks Off a Year!! Overnight Customer Service Representative

 

Virtual Radiologic Corporation (VRC) is a Minnesota based radiology group that provides teleradiology coverage for US practices’ and hospitals nighttime shifts.  We are currently seeking an Overnight Operations Center/Customer Service Representative.  This position has a great schedule of 7 days on/ 7 days off, with an overnight shift.  This allows for 26 full weeks off per year, as well as the eligibility to accumulate additional paid-time off.  This position is considered Full-Time and is benefit eligible. At Virtual Radiologic, we are seeking out talented people that have a real "play to win" energy and drive.


 

An Overnight Operations Center Representative at VRC is responsible for the coordination of images to be read by VRC doctors. This process requires monitoring incoming orders and images, matching orders and images, ensuring all necessary data has been included, data entry, identifying and trouble-shooting non-technical issues, and assisting doctors and technicians when additional information is needed or conference calls are requested. To properly support these activities, a large volume of inbound and outbound phone calls will require professional, courteous, respectful, and timely communication. Due to the nature of business, multi-tasking, following procedure, follow-up, extreme attention to detail, relationship management, and sense of urgency is critically required.

 



Responsibilities:

Monitor and match patient images and orders. Image count verification.Perform data entry of faxed orders. Verify hospitals requesting service is covered at time of request. Perform outbound calls requesting missing images, orders, worksheets, or any missing or additional data or images requested by Doctors. Take inbound calls. Coordinate conference calls for Doctors. Identify and trouble-shoot issues and mismatched studies. Provide documentation of all study activity. Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalent. Two or more years customer related experience. Previous experience working late/overnight shift. Medical background a plus.

 

 Skills Required:Telephone etiquette skills essential. Professional, courteous, and respectful demeanor. Ability to multi-task. Extremely detail oriented. Strong organizational and prioritizing techniques. Ability to work in a team environment as well as work independently. Strong sense of urgency. Demonstrates sound judgment and decision making abilities. Proficiency in PC, Windows, Internet, and e-mail use.
