Come join one of Children's elite clinics as an Ambulatory Services Representative II! The Radiology clinic is looking for an administrative professional for a full-time administrative position. The individual will support and organize the division's clinic in many functions, including registration and administrative support for the clinic. The position calls for an individual with solid administrative experience but most importantly one with high energy and the desire to smile continually. The successful candidate will want to learn the operations of a successful Children's clinic from many angles. Responsibilities include: -Scheduling patient appointments and procedures to coordinate with other providers, departments, institutions, obtaining and recording required authorizations. - Collecting, verifying, recording and processing patient demographics, insurance /payment and referral information required for patient appointments and to obtain payor reimbursement. -Collecting completed billing from during and at the end of each clinic session. Inputing data into the charge management system. Identifying problems and resolves issues preventing successful charge entry. -Monitoring daily schedule and/ exam room utilization and patient flow. Communicating with clinicians and/or supervisor and routes patients and visitors to maintain efficient patient/visitor flow.
