Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center is a world renowned organization dedicated to the progressive control and cure of cancer through programs of patient care, research, and education.

In this position you will be responsible for performing all or most of the functions connected with receiving animals into the facilities, such as checking them for strain, sex and health status, spray shipping containers with antiseptic solutions, separate animals, verify order accuracy, notify investigators of receipt, as well as other related tasks. Dissembles, cleans and reassembles Thoren ventilated racks throughout the facility. Use eTransfer to determine which animals need to move throughout the facilities, physically move the animals. Assist with loading and unloading items in van for transport. Assist in receiving supplies and other materials, including data entry into purchasing receiving system. Performs other duties as requested.

This position requires: HS or GED, ALAT Certification, LAT certification preferred and a valid driver's license. Must be able to follow established standard operating procedures. Candidate should be mechanically adept and able to lift, pull and carry weights of 50 lbs.
