Hiring Salary Range: $2,276 - $2,558 / month

Full salary range: $2,276 - $3,054 / month

DESCRIPTION:

Under supervision, provide administrative assistance for the Murrieta Neurosurgery Clinic. Perform front and back office support to busy Neurosurgery Practice. Type/word processing a variety of materials. Inventory and ordering of medical and office supplies, answer telephones, distribute mail, schedule meetings for faculty and AA III. Assist with data entry and bulk mailing. Greet and provide customer service to all phone in and walk in patients. Schedule new and follow up appointments for patients. Preparation and maintenance of patient charts, insuring all appropriate forms are completed and signed. Serve as key person for copier, fax, and other office machines. Insurance verification. Pre-certification of diagnostic tests with insurance company.

QUALIFICATIONS:


* Demonstrated skills to effectively performs as a receptionist in a busy Neurosurgery clinic with multiple phone lines and large volumes of patients.
* Demonstrated ability to answer, screen, and direct calls, visitors, and take complete and accurate messages.
* Proficient use of office systems, medical office experience.
* Previous surgical office experience, preferred.
